Love
Written May 2002

I'm not sure I even understand this concept. Or better yet, I do, but a lot of people don't. How could I you wonder? Well, let me explain.

There's the guy who cheats (or girl), who claims to love his or her significant other. But, that's bullcrap. If you love someone, you would never do anything to intentionally hurt him or her. Cheating is definitely something that would hurt him or her, and most people understand that it would. So why would you cheat on someone you supposedly love, if you know it'll hurt them when they find out? My answer is you don't love that person. You don't agree with me, because you have cheated on someone you love? Well, I feel sorry for you then. Living in a world of delusions never did anyone, any good.

Another way to hurt someone you supposedly love, is by hitting them, and being abusive. This one really boggles my mind. Why in the hell would you attack someone you say you love? I mean it makes no sense to me. Well, it does actually. You are just saying you love that person, because you want to control that person. It's that simple. And if you believe you love them, then you are living in a world of delusions too.

The worst thing though, is when that person who has been abused or cheated on says the person who did it, loves them. How low are those people's self-esteems that they can believe that? It's really sad, but shows that the one who is the victimizer is right in thinking that saying I love you controls their victim.

Too bad those victims don't realize that there are no victims when it comes to love.
