Vampires
Written 8/24/02
This section isn't about fictionalized
vampires. The ones you see on TV, at the movies, or read about in
books. This section is about real vampires. The kind that you can
find in real life; walking, talking, and breathing.
Before you learn about the real kind
though, you need to first forget about everything you have learned
about them through fiction. They aren't immortal, they can die just
like anyone. They can walk around in sunlight, there is no turning
to ashes. They can be killed by a stake through the heart, but show
me someone who can't be. They can eat garlic, unless they have a food
allergy (like anyone could have). They don't turn into bats, and can't
fly. They can't move faster than the eye can see, and whatever else
said in fiction.
Now, before we continue, I would like
to say these are my views. They may be slightly different than others'
views on vampires or they could be the same. If you are interested
in learning more after reading this section,
click here to learn a lot more. It is an excellent site on real
vampires.
Vampires are just people who have souls
that are starting to become more active. With the soul being more
active, it needs more energy to sustain itself. At first it feeds
of the life force energy of the body it's attached too. This causes
the body to become weak and have other problems. To make up for this
loss of energy, the person turns to blood, because blood is filled
with life force energy, and consuming it can help replace the lost
energy. The person also can get a very strong lust for blood, which
is one reason why he or she turns to blood in the first place.
On a side note, by more active I mean
that the person can have developing abilities that could deem them
psychic by some. This doesn't mean all vampires have psychic abilities,
and that not all psychics are vampires. Just normally, the soul is
more active in some regard.
Over the course of lifetimes, the soul
starts to mature and grow, and eventually learns how to take energy
from other people's bodies, leaving it's body alone. This is done
psychicly, and is why some vampires are called psychic vampires. They
don't need to touch anyone, just be in a room with people, or walk
by someone to get some energy. Though, if the vampire isn't around
anyone for an extended amount of time, his or her soul could start
feeding on it's body again, since it's the only energy source around.
Also, during the process of growing up,
the vampire may do a mix of blood and psychic feeding, until all he
or she needs to do is psychic feeding, without a need for blood.
The next step, is the soul learns it
doesn't need to feed off of any human bodies, and that it can take
in energy from nature, and the universe. The energy here is pretty
much an endless supply, so no real harm is being done.
The final step, which I'm guessing at,
is the soul gets to a point where it doesn't need anymore energy,
or isn't dependent on outside energy. It can sustain itself with it's
own internal energies.
I'm sure that left a lot of questions,
and I apologize. That was a crash course into vampires, at least my
view. There are other views out there as well, and I believe there
isn't one set correct view. I think there can be different causes
for vampires, so if you'd like to find out more ideas, try a search
of the web. Also click on the link above (and visit that sites forums,
great place to ask questions). Be warned though, there are a lot of
crap sites out there, and any that claim vampires are evil, are lying.
Vampires aren't anymore evil then any
other person can be. They don't kill for their blood, and they don't
go around terrorizing.
Good luck if you search for more.
