Links

Here you will find links to other websites. A lot repeated from my main page, though unlike the my main page, here I give a description of each. If you'd like to get linked, just ask! And feel free to link me, though it'd be nice if you told me, so I can feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

1) Drink Deeply and Dream - Great website about real vampires, and the website of the wonderful Mem, who is allowing me to use some of her web space for this site.

2) Vampire Forum - DDD's online forum, where you can ask questions and learn about real vampires.

3) Embracing Mystery - The sister forum of the Vampire Forum. Deals with anything other worldly. Great place to learn.

4) Owsego State University - The college I graduated from, if anyone is curious. Go play with the weather cam, it's fun.

5) NYPIRG - Website for the New York Public Interest Research Group. Good organizing, and I had fun when I was involved with them.

6) Newsground - Don't let the name fool you, it has nothing to do with news. It has tons of games, movies, and spoofs people make (No downloading involved). Some suck, but some are great and really funny. Good website to lose a few hours too.

7) NuSpectra webcam showcase - It has a list of webcams you can watch and control! Sorry, no porn. They're just views of cities, but still fun.

8) Conservatives for Kerry - Good website, and the people who post on it, seem to be quite intelligent. It's also nice to see that some people who are "supposed" to follow the President, can think for themselves instead. Also has links to Republican sites for Kerry and against Bush.

9) The Real World/Road Rules Blog - What? Don't look at me like that! I'm not like an uber-crazy RW or RR's fan, I just enjoy the shows. This website posts updates and news about the shows, and has links to former caste member websites. Interesting if you ever wonder what happened to any of them.

10) strange, scientific, one-winged art - A friend's art page, and I can't put into words how amazing it is. Just go see for yourself, and she does it by hand, no computer tricks. The pictures will be small, so just click on them to get full size.

11) Amber Forever: Home - This website, is awesome! It's chat logs of a young girl named Amber, and her adventures dealing with sickos looking to pick her up. Of course, it's actually a guy who plays her, and the stuff he puts the sickos through, can be quite funny at times. Definitely worth some time.

12) Urban Legends Reference Pages - Name pretty much sums it up. The site tries to address many urban legends, and show whether they are true or not.

13) Penguin Chat - Just a silly little website, where you can walk around as a penguin and talk to other people. It's a creative take on chatrooms.

14) Welcome to Neopets! - Ever hear of them? Go, find out! Get addicted or something. And while that is more geared for children, I did play on the website for awhile. Though, if my account hasn't been deleted for inactivity, my pets should be a bit hungry by now (they can't die from starvation, darn).

15) Make-a-Flake - When you were a kid, did you ever make snowflakes out of paper? At this website, you get to relive that! Pretty easy to do too.

16) Jennifer Government: NationStates - Ever want to run a country? Now you get to! It's not that hard, you just need to answer some questions based of your beliefs, and the country is run accordingly. Every so often, an issue comes up, and you decide how it's resolved. Your responses, determine the kind of government your nation has. Website, can be slow sometimes though.
