Biggest problem with having fairly long hair cut really short.. if it's cold out, your head gets cold! That was really annoying. Temp has gone up though, so least that's nice.
Happy Saddam's statue fell down day! Must be a real comfort to the families of the soldiers killed since then..
Anyway, So Condi Rice finally came and testified before the 9/11 commission. Hmm.. she did say some good things, but.. eh.. looks like I can tell why the Bush administration didn't want her testifying. Some of the things she said didn't add up, or make much sense.. and she actually backed up some of the things Dick Clarke mentioned, LOL. I'm not going into details.. really don't feel like it.
Oh well.. this must be driving the nuts who blindly follow Bush crazy, like Sean Hannity. He seems to think since we're at "war" that you can't say anything bad about Bush or point out mistakes or things that need to be improved. Seems like he thinks the American people should be good little girls and take it. Fun! So, when the country goes to "war," the President becomes a Dictator, can't do anything wrong? Well.. that's how the Bush administration seems to think, they do no wrong, even when shown as wrong. They aren't accountable for anything. Condi Rice pointed that out nicely. The system was broken, but it wasn't their fault they didn't try to fix it!
But back to Sean Hannity, they had a guy on their show, whose book was named I think "Worse than Watergate" about the Bush administration being too secretive. The guy only wrote about facts, he didn't assume anything, or was even willing to take a guess as to any of Bush's motivations on the show. So, pretty solid sounding. But, good ol' Sean couldn't handle that. He kept telling the guy the book would hurt the President.. LOL. The guy was responding, asking how would it hurt the country (I think), to enlighten and have open debate about issues the administration tries to keep secret. It was funny, Hannity just kept crying on about how it would hurt the President, and could be used to hurt the President. Saying how the Dems could use it against him. Hmm.. so, when the President's job is up for renewal, those who want him out, aren't allowed to use facts that might make him look bad?
That's neat! Since Hannity seems to have no problem with using unfactual or misleading statements to attack Kerry. Like how he says Kerry says he voted for the 87 billion before voting against it. Now, that sounds pretty bad, huh? Too bad, a man who seems to be fairly intelligent like Hannity doesn't have the ability to actually think for himself. Just follow the party line, huh? If he actually looked up the facts, he would see, Kerry was talking about that he voted for a version of the 87 billion dollars bill, that would have rolled back some of Bush's tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. He then voted against it, when a version that had no way to pay for the 87 billion was up for vote. Sounds pretty smart when you hear all the facts huh? Kerry was against spending money we don't have, and going further into dept. But, poor ol' Sean, just likes to be a loud mouthed right wing crazy. Too harsh? Well, if he ignores the facts.. don't see what else he could be?
Oh well.. that was fun. My elbow hurts, been bothering me.. so gonna cut it here.

Come across two more good looking sites.
First is the Republicans for Kerry website. Looked through some things, and the guy seems to be quite intelligent in his postings.
The other is FactCheck, a site that checks the facts that are claimed in political ads on TV. Shows they are pretty much crap. Good site though, if you are actually curious about the truth.
Oh well.. might add those to my link page sometime, feeling too lazy right now.. this is easier. ;)

Should be there, with the name Bush vs Bush, and Bush's attack ads call Kerry a flip flopper? rofl

Got my hair cut this morning. Kinda annoying, thought my appointment was at 9:15, so I rush to get there.. but seemed like everything under the sun was trying to slow me down. Hitting all the red lights, even a damn bird was standing in the street, and didn't bother to fly out of the way. Just slowly walk.. bleck.
So get there, say sorry I'm late.. and I was told my appointment was at 9:30, lol.. so I was earlier for once! Would have been nicer, if I could have avioded the stress involved.
Anyway, she cut my hair a bit shorter than usual, as "punishment" because I waited so long to come back in. Last time I had it cut, was July. She had been telling my mom for awhile now that it's time for me to come in. It's not like she's a control freak or anything, more just a running joke, sorta? She did once call us up though, to tell me I should be coming in to get my hair cut, but my mom had been in for an appointment that day. So not that nutty, just trying to get me to get my hair cut, something I do put off. So, anyway.. she cut it a bit shorter than usual. I don't really mind, normally I get it fairly short, and she said this should buy me another month of delaying, lol.
Kinda interesting, been going to her, or well her place.. for over 10 years to get my hair done. Might even be over 13. Not sure. That normal for most people? LOL
Oh well.. wheee.. there was just another bullshit attack Ad on Kerry on TV, fun. Really wish politics wasn't about this fucking bullshit stuff, and more on the issues. Too bad though, Bush Administration acts like a spoiled little bitch whenever someone stands up against them, or disagrees with them. But, no gonna rant long.. don't feel like sitting here, so going.

Maybe this makes me lame.. but listening to Avril Lavigne's song, "Don't Tell Me" on AOL, and me like it. Her voice, the instruments, melody, everything. It's nice. Idea behind the song is good too, I think. Oh well.
I find it funny, that when you disagree with Bush, or point out things he has done wrong, you are called a Liberal Bush basher. Kinda sad, actually. People can't argue what you say, so they throw an incorrect label at you. Really consider that weak and small minded.. but anyway, just a comment I had.

I'm getting so sick of President Bush and his, Terrorists hate freedom crap. Saw parts of a speech he gave today, about those fighting back in Iraq, saying how they were terrorists and hate freedom. Gawd, why does he insist on looking stupid? Maybe because it seems like a lot of Americans are idiots and believe his bullshit.
It's annoying, he's been calling anyone who fights back against the US since he declared victory, oops I mean an end to "major combat operations," a terrorist who hates freedom, which is fucking stupid. Anyone with some level of intelligence would know, that those aren't terrorist (well sure, some came to the country), but they are just defending themselves, since we are at war with them. Bush can't claim the war is over, until it's over. Those who are fighting us, are just fighting Bush's wasteful, and pointless war. Yes, I say pointless, because this war did absolutely shit to fight terrorism, which was the reason for it , oh and those pretend WMD's.
And so, since they are defending themselves, Bush says they are terrorist, but also hate Freedom. The fuck is this idiot smoking? How stupid must you be, to think they are fighting back, because they hate freedom? I don't they even consider that. They are fighting to protect their way of life. They are fighting because they want the power back they had. They are fighting because they hate us. Then there are those doing so, for religious reasons, but those guys, I think would be more the terrorists who have flocked there, and been created by Bush's wasteful war.
It's just amazing how mind numbingly stupid the American people seem to be getting. I know not most, but a good deal. And all the Bush Administation needs to do is lie and mislead (or just say stupid things), to keep people on Bush's side. And yes, I say lie. If you've seen any of the attack ads on Kerry or heard Bush speak about how Kerry is gonna raise taxes on everyone, then you know he is a liar. Kerry has said he is raising taxes on the rich, lowering it for everyone else. So, good ol' Bush is lying. Perhaps something he has done in the past? But going back to my point, the American people are stupid. Polls showed Kerry's rating dropping in states where the Kerry bullshit attack ads were running. Like yeah, if it's on TV, it must be true? If Bush approves of the message, then it must be true? HA!
Like the one about the claim Kerry wants a 50 cent gas tax. Lets see, that was back in 1994 I believe. He considered it, but it was never proposed as a bill, and he changed his mind about it. Oh, but in the simple minded reality of Bush, since Kerry considered it, that means he will do it. Bah. And the ad talks about Kerry voting for higher gas taxes.. riiight. In 1993, think it was, Kerry voted for a bill that was passed, that was meant to lower the deficit. In it, it did have like a 4.3 cent gas tax. And Kerry voted against having that repealed. Oooohh.. so that means he voted for higher taxes! Bah. Idiots. Why don't they mention that back in 1986, Cheney considered a bill that would have cost the American people over 1 trillion dollars extra since then, in gas prices (given 6 billion to oil companies I believe). Or how a current member of the Bush Administration, back in 1999, 5 years after Kerry decided against a 50 cent gas tax, wanted a 50 cent gas tax?
Yeah.. total bullshit. The worst thing that ever happened to this coutnry was Bush being elected, and it will show the idiocy of this country if he is re-elected. Hmm.. maybe that's why he didn't fully fund child left behind? He wants children left behind, who will be easy to control as adults. Maybe his brother wants to be President too?

We had a nice little snow storm yesterday and last night, not totally uncommon for April, but can be. Temp is back down to 20 degrees, which is a slight shock, since it's been warmer lately. But, eh.. who cares, lol.
So, today I spent about an hour responding to someone's email. Figure I can call the person a friend, since well.. we've been having some fairly long conversations in email. She emailed me, hmm.. about a month or two ago, asking for a code to get a dead journal, which is where my old journal use to be. Instead of just asking though, she played up being a damsel in distress, mentioning how her mom was evil.. etc, nice and faery taleness, and very creative in my opinion. So, I responded in kind, keeping the faery taleness going. Was actually fun. Now though, most of the faery taleness has been replaced by "normal" stuff. Still good though.. but, hmm.. something I find interesting, or maybe not, is that I think I definitely care for her. Recently, she was having a rough time, and that was expressed in her journal, and I dunno.. just reading about her being upset, hurting, brought out the feeling of caring. This isn't new, it's happened before with friends.. maybe I was just a bit surprised that I cared about her, after only about a month or two? Been getting fairly deep in our conversations though, so maybe not. And sometimes, some people just click with each other a lot quicker than others.
Oh, and by care, I don't mean romantically, oohhh.. I'm in love. Just caring about a friend.
What am I talking about? LOL, watching a TV show, so typing during the comercials. Anyway, spent like a lot of time today, responding to her email, posting in her journal.. and, the thought is, like, what good comes from this? Is this worth spending time on? Like.. when I play a video game, what good comes from that? Enjoyment, but nothing else really changes. When I think about this, well.. I enjoy receiving her emails, and she enjoys them too. She's said, I've cheered her up or made her feel better at times too. So, what's the point? Seems like I found it. Is it worth the time? Well, I don't have much else to do.. so, I'd say so. Even if my life was busy, figure I'd beable to find time, just may not beable to respond right away all the time, lol. Ohhh.. show back on.
Back. So is there any point to this post? I dunno. Just felt like talking about this I guess. Not that it matters to anyone whose reading this, unless she is.. eeep. Hi.
Well, gonna end here. So, later.

Blargh.. went to test my new links page, forgot to make the new ones open in a new window! Though, considering I hadn't closed my webdesign program, my FTP uploader thinger, finished it already, under two minutes. Man, that was a crisis.
And yeah, hadn't closed blogger either, or I wouldn't be posting this, lol.
Now gonna log out, close, and go.

Man.. chaning the little "Other" to a "Links" in that picture up above and to the right, was much more work than I thought it was gonna be. Actually just ended up, taking an older gif before I put the hot spots in, painted over all the words, then typed the whole thing back in, but with "Links" instead of "Other." Redid them all, so it'd line up. Then, I had to use another program, to save it as a gif, then I put in hotspots on this new gif, and all that fun stuff. So, after way longer than I would have liked (gave the short version), got it working.
Thinking back on my last post, I had a neat idea! If I decided to go with the name Keystone, over Me, then I could change the name of this website, to Keystone's Gateway, instead of My Place. Get it? Isn't that so bloody brilliant?!!? Or, just really lame.. lol. I haven't decided yet, but it is a nice play on words, I think. Just not sure, if that isn't too lame. Maybe if I drew a gateway, with a fancy colored stone being it's Keystone, then I'd react lame level? Maybe just creative? I dunno.. but in my insane mind, the idea is starting to put up steam. Anyone like it?
Course, it would require a bunch of work.. and well, I normally draw the line there.
Anywho.. gonna go now.

There's some work I wanna do on this website, but food is being made! Bleck.. lol. Yummy though, so, eh, just posting here instead, to waste time, while it's being made..
Ohhh.. though, just remembered something silly I wanted to talk to myself about, since no one in there right mind, would be reading this.. err.. note to self, don't insult the adoring fans! Anyway, Sooo.. I use the name "Me" here, because I really don't like my real name. I could always use it, but dun wanna. Haven't been able to think up of a good one either, so just went with the ol' general "Me" which kinda sucks too. So, today in the shower I was thinking about a name to use, online. Why I was think this in the shower? Eh, who knows. Anyway, the idea comes to me, maybe I could use "Key." Cuz, it's like the first syllable of my name. Growing up, and being shy, really sucked whenever someone would say Key, especially a teacher in school, because hearing the first part, I would go into "Ahhhh" mode, for a moment, lol. But, digressing here, I then though, how bout, "The Key" cuz, it sounds all the more fancy and special, cuz it starts with a "The" and it'd be like, the key to what? I must know!! How mysterious! Yeah. So, think.. hmm.. maybe? Though, then what about "Keystone." That has some nice meaning behind it, being the stone that holds all the others up! I dunno though. Using "The Key" or "Keystone" just seems really silly. Though, if I had to pick one, I think I like "Keystone" more. Hmm.. anyone got a good idea? LOL
Neat! When I ran spell check, I was close enough to spelling syllable right, that it fixed it! Least, I hope it's right? I had too o's in it, when I spelled it, LOL.
Oh well, this is the plain ol' Me, signing out.

Joy of joys, get to lose an hour to tonight. That's right, if you haven't forgotten, it's day light's saving time, and it's the one where you put the ol' clock ahead. Not much I really want to talk about right now, more wanna go off to bed, or find something to distract me from sleep, so later.
