(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)
Wedding Trip, day 5.
It was time to go home, whhaaa.. sorta, lol. But got packed, and headed to the airport, and checked in curb side, which is quick, no line.. since we had our tickets already, while my dad returned the rental car. Then we went through security, and my little bottle of juice was a national threat, so had to go through the scanner, lol.. after that my dad realized he still had the rental car keys, so went to return them. Something they kinda needed, ya know? :)
Anyway.. had to wait for plane, was wearing my glasses.. to look around for hot chicks.. lol, slap me. There were some, and our plan boarded and left earlier too, which was nice.. though meant we had to wait longer at the Pittsburgh airport. Which wasn't a totally bad thing.
The Pittsburgh airport is huge!! It's like a freaking mall, but with airplanes too. There were those moving flow things too, like the stairs.. but flat, since it was so big. Never seen them in real life before!
When we first entered we were walking down a long hallway, with airlines and stores.. saw a hot chick, but she was walking faster so could only check her out for a bit, but then noticed her later. She had stopped, and was bent over.. looking through her carry on bad. Err.. lets say nice back section, lol.. god I'm gross!
Anyway, huge airport.. there were tons of places to eat at too. We decided on Italian, and afterwards wondered around more. We then went into this one store, that had a lot of little gadgets and stuff you could play with, to see if you wanted to buy anything. My parents actually did, so it wasn't like we were free loading. They did have some massager things, and whoa! Could they vibrate fast.. lol, don't think that, you with the dirty mind! Just made my arm vibrate. :)
We eventually went to the place where our plane was to board, sat around, waited, got on.. got back to home airport, fairly mundane. Though, our luggage was left in Pittsburgh! And they had like 2 hours to transfer the stuff to our plane, sheesh.
But, so.. ends the wedding trip. Sorry if I bored you!

(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)
Wedding Trip, day 4.
We went to pick up my grandfather at his home, before returning to my Aunt and Uncle's. It was my Uncle Bob's birthday, so I guess he was being brought over for that reason. I hadn't seen him in quite awhile, though he remembered who I was, which is good right?
He's got Alztymers (spelling?), but not as bad as my grandmother, who.. is so completely out of it, you can't talk to her and she doesn't do much. These are my mother's parents. And since that disease is genetic, yay?
Anyway, in his room, he asked a few times about Cynthia's wedding.. and his TV was set to some religious channel. The 700 club was on.. and the remote control didn't work, and the TV had all it's buttons removed so you couldn't change the channel, or turn it off.. umm.. didn't make sense to me either.
It took him awhile to walk to the car, but we got there, then we drove back to the house. And some hello's and stuff like that happened.
Anyway, something that had happened during that day, and the night before.. is I had memories pop up into my head, that I hadn't thought of in a long time. Memories basically, of when I visited there as a kid. For example; the pool table they use to have in the basement, playing in the basement, the game of tag played down there, during a family reunion, the family feud game on their computer, also in the basement.. hmm.. rolling down the little hill (seemed bigger back then), outside there house, and getting all cut up by the grass, I remember how that hurt. Their birds, that would fly around the house, when let out.. watching this incredible hulk movie on a TV, watching the NCAA Championship game, when North Carolina beat Michigan State.. lol, I was in NC, so they had an interest in it. I also got to see the slide show I missed seeing at the dinner, it was great.. because I recognized one of the pictures. It was of Cynthia riding a horse, when she was younger. I believe it was from when we were visiting, and all of us went horse back riding. It was like a trail thing, with the guide infront, and the horses were trained to follow.. for the most part, lol..
Oh gosh! And there was the game of horse we played, lol.. I remember Cynthia did a cartwheel, and made a basket, I was just like.. "bah, I get a letter." (I couldn't do cartwheels!)
I also remember when we went to this house at a beach, well did it twice.. with them, in South Carolina, near Myrtle Beach. There was a squirt gun fight, I remember.. and got shown a new card game, called farmer and pig, the pig throws the cards all over, and the farmer is supposed to clean them up, lol.. the water was a bit too cold then to go in. It was on the Ocean. Oh, and sun burns.. bad.. when around others who like to pat ya on the back with them. ;)
The other time at the beach, or Ocean.. in a different house, and what I remember most was just listening to the radio on a bed, and writing down the name of songs I liked. Hmm.. wish I had more from then..
Awww.. well, good times, nice memories.. childhood.. how I miss those fun times.
Anyway, there wasn't much else that happened.. Unlce Bob had a cake, and Aunt Marlyn brought out all these kinds of ice-cream to have with the cake, and outside.. we were, so it was melting fast. I did start interacting with Paul's daughters a little more too.
Got some nice big good-bye hugs.. felt this real protective feeling for Liz too, weird.. but did pat her on the head, lol.. I dunno.. just impulse. Nothing offensive meant by it.
Later that night, at the hotel.. for dinner we had pizza from Chuckie Cheese, it's been forever since I had pizza from there, and reminded me of B-day parties held there when I was a kid.. whhhheeee! More memories, but I won't ramble on about them. :)
I actually slept a bit better that night too.. it was good, didn't wake up as much.
