Welcome to my little place on the web, version 4! I'm no expert with HTML, and I'm sure an intelligent monkey could make a better site, but I don't care. I just wanted a place on the web to call my own (I also heard chicks dig guys with websites). Here I express myself, my opinions, views, and rant about whatever. If you aren't open to other people's views and are just one of those useless close minded people, please leave by clicking here. For those who didn't click, enjoy your stay. (back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)

Wedding Trip, day 3.

I'll skip the morning and getting up, nothing interesting there.

We get to the church and go in, my cousin Paul meet us, and takes us to our seats, and we get little program things to. Telling who is taking part in the wedding, and the order of events for the ceremony. It's a catholic wedding, lol.

So we're sitting, after a while they have the groom and the best people go upfront, then the bride comes in. Goes by fairly quick, until the priest gives his homily. Oy, it was maybe 25 minutes long. Maybe 30 minutes! He was rambling about so much. Pulled out a picture of some guy, who was the first priest in North Caroline. Most everyone seems to sigh when he did that, and my dad commented that the guy must be nuts. He was making little comments throughout, though I don't remember them. The only funny part of it, was that the priest was talking about how sex before marriage was bad, but after it was good. Then he said something about loving each other all the time, can't remember exactly what he said, but it sounded like he was saying they should have lots of sex, lol.. ugh.

After that, it went on to communion. It was weird, he made this little speech about how you must be a good catholic to come up, or you'd be like damned. At least it sounded that way. In his view, I'd be a really bad catholic, but still got some of the bread that is supposed to be Jesus' flesh. Yummy! :)

A bit later, they did their vows and the people rejoiced! Wedding procession left, then we exited Church. Those part of the wedding procession stayed inside for a while though, for pictures. Outside there was a nice Limo waiting for them, to get them to the reception afterward. We hung around outside for a while (it was hot!), saying hi to some people and stuff. Then we started to head to our Car, I didn't right away, Liz eventually came out and I said hi, said she did well on her reading she did during the wedding. Also was introduced to some of her friends that came, one was named Susan.

Said bye to them, and headed to the car. We then left for the reception.

-Afternoon-
We find the hotel for the reception fairly easily, phew.. it was pretty too! There were a bunch of big greenish glass colored buildings. This is in Winston-Salem for anyone wondering. We took an elevator up from the parking garage, then took the main elevator to the floor the reception was on. The elevator was glass, and overlooking the city. You could see this gardenish looking area below us too, with some fancy type fountains. I know, I really paint a great picture, huh?

For some reason, I thought the place we were going to was a club, like dance, LOL.. but it was a country club. Fairly nice and big place. When coming in, there were these little bags with almonds in them with a note attached. (they were sugared too) It said they were to remind us life was both bitter and sweet, and there were five to represent five wishes for the new husband and wife; Health, Wealth, Happiness, Children, and Long Life. That was something nice I thought. There was also a basket of little bells, to ring when the bride and groom left. Guess that is a tradition or something. I took one of each.

They had a lot of tables there, because more people were invited to this. There was a DJ again, and a real small dance floor. There was also a big buffet with stuff to eat. On it, there was a large Salmon, that you could scrape meat off of. Ewww.. yuck, gross looking! People ate it though, go them.

There was more mingling, talking to cousins.. fun stuff. Saw Susan there again, asked her what her name was, lol.. but I remembered it after that. I'm so lame-o!

Anyway, they eventually got to the part where the bride throws the flowers, Cynthia hit the ceiling the first time, lol.. but got it the second time. The little girl Liz was holding up almost caught it, but this other person did. Maybe late teens, earlier 20's.

Then came the garter belt throwing, I got up there with all the single guys.. less than 10 of us, including some kids, under 12. It was thrown, and I was reaching out to grab it, almost had it, but at the last minute my hand got knocked away and this 12 year old caught it. I was even scratched! Grrr! I was kinda mad, lol.. never caught one of those before at weddings, and this was the closest I've even been. Sad, I know I am.. but I was upset about it for a while afterward. Weird, pulled up a bunch of pain and hurt.. from I don't know where. Well, maybe I do, but I hide from it normally.

They didn't do the thing where the guy puts the belt on the flower catcher, they decided beforehand not too, would have be funny if they had done it.

I believe after that, I was over at the get drinks place (like a mini-bar), and Liz was getting a beer. It confused my mind, because I still had the mental image of her as like 14, last time I saw her I think. And she's drinking a beer! She's 22, I think.. or 21. GAWD my memory. Anywho, just was odd.. because my mind couldn't understand. I kept thinking of her as younger that weekend!

Anyway, the cutting of the wedding cake part comes, and the bride and groom cut it, then they have one of the professional guys cutting it up. I got a piece, but I didn't really like it as much as the cake we had the night before. I also didn't have much frosty, and that's my favorite part, lol.. but I'm not playa hatin' the cake. Honest!

More time passes, there's some dancing, and when it's time for the bride and groom to leave, well.. right before. I say good bye to Cynthia, nice long hug.. though silly me couldn't realize I wouldn't be seeing her again that weekend. They were going to hotel, then on their honey moon in the morning. So, wish I had realized that, so I could have made the good-bye more final, in my mind. But, at least, I should be seeing her again, someday.. hopefully!

When she and her husband finally left, we were ringing the little bells they gave us at them. I guess that's what you do. Or some tradition. I don't know a whole lot about weddings.

Me and my parents then left, though the Elevator tried to close on me, so I came down in a different one. It was evil!! When I joined them, we went to the car, and returned to the hotel to change, and take a short break, before heading over to my uncle and aunt's house.

-Later that Evening-
When we arrived at my aunt and uncle's house, my aunt and aunt were already there. So were Liz and her friend Susan, plus Susan's brother and mother. I think Karen and Paul were there too, unless Paul arrived later.

There were some snacks to snack on, and soda to drink, and almost everyone was out back on the porch. Well, not really a porch since it had no sides, and wasn't that high off the ground. But anyway, I ended up sitting in the grass with Liz, Susan, her brother.. and later another one of Liz's friend Katie joined us. They were talking about stuff, and I was more quiet, since I really didn't know these other people, lol.

My cousin Paul's two daughters were running around like little kids do, real young.. but old enough to talk. His son who is, maybe one? Was stepping off the porch and falling down, but he'd make sure we were watching before he did it. I guess he liked the attention and reaction. One of the girls, wanted attention too I think, because she started pretending to fall, but wasn't really getting it. I was trying to give her some though.

There were more mundane things, but I'll save you the details..

Eventually, we end up inside were there are less bugs. Susan, Liz, and Katie were talking about old friends they knew, and didn't mind if I was listening in and in the room. Hey, it beat being outside with the adults, having adult conversations!

I did learn Susan is supposed to be on Fear Factor, which would be kewl if she is, and I get to see her on it. Cuz ya know, I could be like, hey, I know that person on TV! Well, maybe not know well, but have met.

My evil parents ended up wanting to leave, since it was getting really late.. so I eventually did. Gave Liz a hug I believe, lol.. hey, I am the one who has cried in this journal about not getting enough hugs! :)

So we left, returned to the Hotel, and round two of trying to sleep went into affect. Sigh.. did wake up a few times, and I would bitch out loud about them being too loud.. lol.. oh well. Did help though.

(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)

Wedding Trip, day 2.

Me being the dumb one, or perhaps smart.. I didn't go to sleep Thursday night. I had normally been going to bed around 5:00 am, and I needed to wake up around 4:00 am to go to the airport, so I just meditated for an hour instead of sleeping.

Between me and my parents, I was the one most awake.. lol. Guess my way worked. Though I also took a shower. I always shower before leaving the house in the morning! It may seem odd, but it is a good way to wake yourself up too.

Anyway, we dropped off our stuff curb side, and walked in. We had our tickets from the day before, and there was no need to wait in line. Got through security relatively quickly. They had to ask my dad to take his hat off a few times though, because, well.. he wasn't completely awake, LOL. Our plane was actually on time, so that was good. And we were on our way to Baltimore. There weren't many people on the plane with us either, it was, maybe 5 others.

When we got to the airport and the plane had landed, I saw a plane that had Phoenix Suns on it, a big plane. Also had the colors of the basket ball team with the same name. I was thinking it might have been the team's plane, why they were in Baltimore, I wasn't sure, but thought it was kewl! I'm so lame.

In the Baltimore airport, my parents decided to have breakfast, and use our 30 dollar meal thingy we got because we couldn't make our planes last night. I only got a water, because I had the plan not to really eat anything that day. My parents got stuff, and more stuff.. lol.. a bunch of the stuff we could carry with us though, and not eat there. We stopped at 20 dollars, could have gotten more.. but didn't. I ended up having a little to snack on..

We returned to our gate, to wait for our plane, oh, and there were more nice looking girls here.. tee hee. Smack me. While I was sitting and waiting, saw one sitting down waiting for her flight. She had ear phones on, and was sitting relatively far, but I could see her with my glasses on! She looked cute, lol.. would say nice too, but ya know, looks don't make personality.

Our flight to Greensboro was pretty much full. When we were getting on, my Mom got stopped for one of those silly "security searches" lol, what freaking idiots. If they stop her, thinking she could be a terrorist, they won't be stopping any. Stupid P.C. Police. Sure, it might not be nice to be searching every Arab, but searching people who don't fit the profile, at all.. is a complete waste of time.

Everything went fairly well after that, arrived on time, got our rent a car, and found the hotel.. well after we couldn't find it at first. Our AOL map thingy, had the hotel location way off! So we called them, then found the place without problems.

My dad had wanted me to go get a sports jacket to wear at the wedding, but my stomach.. more like intestines weren't feeling too good, and it got worse. It was somewhat cramped up, but then it just felt awful! My insides felt like they were on fire. It felt like it would have been great to have something just slide through me that was frozen. But man, I was trying my best to get everything to settle for the dinner that evening. Napped, it felt even worse.. dear lord! That was the worst intestinal pain I've ever been in. Luckily though, and god was I happy about this.. it did improve, and I felt well enough to go to the dinner thing.

-Later in the Evening-
We got to hotel the dinner was at, maybe 10-15 minutes early. Some of the grooms family was there already, and we met them, said hello's, then went to find our table to sit down. The tables were the circle kind, with chairs set up to sit around them, with name thingies, so you knew where to sit. One of the guys at our table, older, his wife was in one of the Trade Centers. To me, she might have been a step-aunt I think. Anyway, we waiting there till things got more interesting.

After a while, my cousin and her family came in. I saw my cousin Karen and (Liz) Elizabeth, first I believe.. and went to say hello to them. First to Karen, who I did recognize, but don't really remember, because when me and my family visited them, she really didn't hang around us kids. She's about 5-6 years older than me, and doesn't like kids much. We hugged, said hello's. Then I went to my cousin Liz (Elizabeth), who I do have memories with, because she's about my sister's age, 4-5 years younger than me, and we did hang out and play. There were hugs and hello's too. Then I headed over to my other cousin Cynthia, who was the one getting married. She's the same age as me, and wow! Being somewhat empathic, I could feel her high energy level hit me when I walked up to her! LOL Got hugged again, and said hello's. Met the groom as well I think. Couldn't talk long with her, because she had to do the meet and greet. Found out she hadn't been sleeping well, which is normal I think. Did say some things to Liz after that, too. Also said hi to my other cousin Paul, he is the oldest, and a doctor. Also said hi to my Aunt Marlyn and Uncle Bob. Then returned to my seat, sorta.. after a bit.

GAWD! Is this as boring as it sounds to write? LOL

Anyone, after everyone arrived they started serving dinner. First we got these little salads, which I ate.. then the main course, still small.. but that was good. There was this chicken thing, some pieces of potato and some green beans. I ate most of it, besides the chicken since I don't eat meat. Then they had cake! w00t! My piece had a lot of icing! And it was yummy!!! There was also ice-cream, but I declined to have some.

After that, they had Paul's two little girls read a story. It was a kids book. Maybe the book was gonna be a present or something. Argh! Don't really remember, but it was cute. Oh, and some people said a few words about the bride and groom too. There was a slide show, showing both the bride and groom when they were young with music, but I missed it, because I stepped out to go the bathroom. And just a note, I don't feel like talking about my times stepping out to the bathroom during this weekend, so I'm not mentioning them. Okie? Good. Stomach wasn't feeling great, but not completely bad either. Fairly good for how it was earlier in the day.

The dinner was coming to an end, and they opened up the wall to the room next to us that had a little dance floor on it, so people could dance and stuff. They had a DJ there too. I got to mingle more, talk to my cousins more, and stuff. More people showed up too, who weren't invited to the dinner. And it was fun. I did accidentally smash my shin into the side of this bench, and when I checked, it was bleeding a little. 4 weeks later, it's still marked and very slightly swallow.

Hmmm.. not much of anything else interesting, don't need to go on about the conversations I had. Did a little dancing, on the dance floor.. well, if you want to call it dancing. By 11:00, or maybe later, we called it a night and headed home.

-Later that Night-
I found out my dad was having bad gas that day, hotel room.. not the largest, figure out how. But I learned why at the dinner, or around the room there was this weird odor. It was from him! Icky.

Anyway, after we had gone to sleep, I found out my Mom was a loud sleeper. Not like snoring, just very loud!! I'm trying to get back to sleep, but it isn't working. I go to the bathroom, and it's still loud in there. I was getting annoyed, because I hadn't slept the night before, and I wanted sleep! Sleeping should have also helped out my tummy. So, I just decide to screw it, and go sleep out in the car. I'm silly, eh?

After about an hour there, I'm woke up, because my Mom woke up and found me not in the room. So she freaked, and they came and checked the car. Hey! I was nice, I didn't want to wake them up. So we went back to the room, and she didn't stay on her back for the most part, and it was better.. not perfect, but better.

Still wanted to shoot myself.. bah.. I like quiet when sleeping. :)

(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)

Wedding Trip, Day 1.

My dad called the airport, and we found out the flight is a half hour late, so we get there about a half hour later than we had planned.

Waiting in line to turn in our suitcases and get tickets, takes a long time, because a lot of flights it seems are canceled or delayed, and people need to have theirs change. The computer says our flight is on time, which goes against what we were told, but we still have a lot of time. We just figure we won't have to sit around and wait after we get in.

When we finally get to the counter, the lady there tells us our plane is actually late. Their computer system had been hit by lighting earlier, and was screwed up. So it wasn't showing any flights being late or canceled. Ours was still only 30 minutes late.

Oh, and I decided to actually wear my glasses in the airport. I kinda like them, got new ones last Oct. I figured, I could actually see everything in fairly good detail this way, and who cares if someone saw me wearing them! I could also check out the girls.. lol.. god, hope that doesn't make me a pig, maybe just a guy? Not like I actually stare or try to touch at least, so it's nothing bad, right? I hope! I'm just normal at times.. a normal male.. ugh.

Anyway, we're waiting, waiting.. but they keep telling us the plane is in Pittsburgh and hasn't gotten off the ground yet. Eventually, it does take off, though, our connecting flight in Pittsburgh, isn't late. It's on time! So we could fly to Pit, and miss our flight. We're told it'll be hard to find a hotel, since a lot of people had flights canceled. We decided to screw it, and catch a flight the next morning, at 6 am! So after sitting around for over 3 hours in the airport, we just went home.

Saw some interesting looking girls at least.. and there was a newspaper there with classified ads for escort services, and personals, and escort services needing jobs.. it was kinda entertaining, not planning on calling one for a job! Though, it'd be good money..

(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)

I can't think of a subject!!

I was reading in Time magazine about all the end of the world, and second coming crap. Lots of books on it, and people believeing it'll happen. I wonder how stupid they are?

The article went through how the second coming got started, and changed over the years.. to fit the current crisises that were happening.

Umm.. I could go all into detail, but this is just a journal entry, not a debate!

I was sorting napping this afternoon, had some strange dreams, or it was all the same one. Not sure. Was away, at this place.. maybe some sort of hotel or something? There were a bunch of us staying there, and so was Jill. Haven't seen her in almost 2 months, and don't think I will again in this life. I remember laying in one of the beds, kinda hoping she'd jump in with me, so I could have someone to snuggle with, or something like that.. no sex! (Maybe had the thought she wanted to lay in bed with someone, for comfort?) She didn't though, found a bed of her own. She wasn't naked sleeping, but in undergarments.. and the covers didn't exactly stay on, basically it would have be embarrassing for her to read this, if I went into detail, so I won't. It was dark at least!

Another dream or the same one, there was some bad dude, all powerful thinking he was great. I ended up standing up to him, and in DBZ mold we were fighting with energy. He threw an energy ball at me, I dodged, he was moving really fast, but I threw an energy ball at him, and got him. Right in the knee, it was all boney and bloody looking. (Really don't have gone in my dreams, this was first) The guy gave up, and said not to hurt him, lol.

The interesting thing about that though, is in my dreams, I use to not beable to throw energy, when I tried. Then I was sorta able to, but it was slow. This time, it was fast, and damaging. Wonder if that means something.

Next part of dream, seemed to be same area.. oh, and I'm leaving out lots of parts and details, I'm sure.. I got a this thing, that had a wedding invition in it. So did Dorothea, she was there too for some reason. She was like, oh no I can't go, I'll be home for the summer. I was looking on the card for the date (see if she could go), saw May 15th, which would be next spring, but I'm not exactly sure if that was the wedding date. I woke up before I could.

On another note, I'll be going to a wedding that's out of state, this weekend, LOL. Leaving tomorrow, so I won't be posting in this for awhile. Hopefully it goes well, I know tummy could make this really suck. Hoping everything stays okay. I plan to eat a little tomorrow, nothing Friday, maybe a little Saturday, and a little Sunday. Should make it easier on me. Yeah, that's not good.. but it's the only way.

Anyway.. hopefully it goes well. Till later.

(back dated, reposted from Deadjournal)

"What a pathetic life..." LOL

No, that subject isn't about me.. this time.

On Saturday I went to my brother's highschool graduation. With a class size of around 530 people, and about 130 some scholarships to give out, it took awhile.

So it was a tad boring. The graduates were entertainning a little. They were blowing up balloons, and beach balls.. and bouncing them around. The teachers of course would take them away. But the students brought a lot of them, lol. We even ended up having some bouncing around in our area, so I guess that was something to watch too, though we had boring people take the balloons too. One lady just knocked one away, while another just held on to them. Hmpth!

Oh!! And I've been to 3 graduations now, since Dec, and in each of them they have gone on about 9/11. God! You think these people would have a clue, but they don't. They are all blahing on about how it changed the world. The world wasn't changed, just the stupid-we-are-the-best-no-one-can-touch-us-and-everyone-loves-us idiots had their eyes opened. The world really didn't change, just the fluffy happy view everyone had, was shot to pieces. It's funny how some think the world changed in that one moment.. pisses me off too, lol.

A different speaker was mentioning how he got an email from a former student who had gone to my brother's highschool for a few years. They never graduated, because they moved someone else, and graduated from that highschool. I guess this was quite a many years later, and the guy was asking for info about the people who he would have graduated with. He wanted to pick up where he left off, and said since moving everyone he meant, he felt like he didn't belong with. That the people he knew, for the few years he went to this highschool, were the people he belonged with.

My dad commented during this, "What a sad pathetic life that person must have." I agree. I mean, come on, never feeling like you belonged since then? It's freaking pathetic. Talk about being stuck in the past.

Hmm.. also got to check out some fairly okay looking girls, lol.. not the highschool ones, but there weren't that many I found yummy. At my college there were tons of yummy girls everyway.. was nice on the eyes. :)
